Therapeutic experience & interests

I hold a Diploma in Counselling and Psychotherapy from CCPE,
Centre for Counselling and Psychotherapy Education.

I started my career working in the non-profit, commercial, media, non-profit and youth sector. Since 2007, I have been working therapeutically in the mental health field with clients from a diverse range of ages and backgrounds.

Coming from an international and migratory background, I have developed a keen interest in working with cultural issues of identity and belonging, displacement, isolation, and intersectional difference. I am experienced in working with family dynamics, enmeshment, co-dependency, inner child work and transgenerational trauma, especially for those clients who are from a multicultural background and feel ‘othered’ by society.

Coaching experience

I have coached and mentored a range of different people.

My clients have included corporate executives, charity professionals, campaigners, sole traders and entrepreneurs working in start-ups.

I have first hand experience of corporate business and non-profit sector environments and more specifically, I have worked with and alongside people of all disciplines, from secretaries of state, editors, broadcasters, journalists and chief executives in industry.

More recently, I have worked with inner city young people at risk whose lives were often in precarious and challenging circumstances. Currently, I am working part-time as a Specialist Mental Health Coach/ Mentor with undergraduate, postgraduate and PhD students at LSE, LBS and UCL who are struggling with diagnosed mental health challenges.
