What is therapy
Therapy is a space to slow down, sit and be witnessed. Once there is a trusting rapport, there is the opportunity to open to the complexities that are presenting themselves to you.
It is not our emotions that are destructive, but our relationship to them – either turning destructively inwards onto ourselves or outwards towards our outer lives.
You and your emotions will be seen and heard, as you allow them to come to the surface to be held gently as you process and meet them with kindness.
It is a chance to come into your body in a held environment, releasing your stories and allowing feelings to surface, and embody who you truly are.
How can therapy help over time
Inner transformation is hard, as is the alchemical process that transforms from lead to gold. The journey is often painful before you begin to feel liberated.
The key component is for you to meet your fears and emotions with a loving kindness. The art of being is to allow your emotions to be alongside you, learning to hold them without feeling the need to hide behind your false self or personas.

anxiety can find a place to ground itself, and not attach to your ‘story’ or narrative
the source of your anger can be honoured so that you can direct it differently
your grief can have a space to surface and for you to find hope and solace in the world again
your fear can be held with compassion so that your body can relax and feel a sense of belonging and an embodied beingness.
